Keith Kaplan blends a rich receivership, run-off and reinsurance background with strong financial and legal acumen.  He currently manages over $3.75 billion in liabilities serving as Chief Liquidation Officer of both Bedivere Insurance Company and R&Q Reinsurance Company.  Prior to establishing Anselma Capital in 2016, Keith enjoyed a successful 34 year Property & Casualty insurance career with major carriers that included over 15 years as a Chief Reinsurance Officer and Run-Off Executive as well as significant experience as an Underwriting Officer and Risk Manager. His background also includes creating and implementing start-up business plans, litigation and claims management, sell side M&A, sell side of Insurance Linked Securities, and service on various Boards of Directors.

       Keith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Finance, and a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law.  He also holds numerous insurance industry designations including CPCU, ARM, AU, ARe, AMIM, ARP, AIAF and AIM.

      Keith is an ARIAS-US certified arbitrator and has served as umpire on tri-partite panels.  He is also an engaging public speaker who has  guest lectured or presented at various universities, corporations and industry conferences.
